Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer- Madison, WI Direct Hire!

The QTI Group is partnering with an international company located on the north side of Madison to recruit its next Mechanical Engineer. The Mechanical Engineer will work to design and develop new processes and process equipment, improve existing products and processes, work on facility improvement projects, and design and develop new products. This is a hands-on "on the floor" role so if you like to stay active in your engineering role, this is it! It's an exciting time for the company as they move to a new plant facility so the Mechanical Engineer will play a key role in transferring equipment to the new facility.


Responsibilities:
  • Improve existing processes and equipment to improve yields, increase throughput, improve product quality, and improve worker safety
  • Support manufacturing to help solve production issues and problems which arise on the plant floor
  • Design, specify, and work with vendors to order and install needed facilities mechanical equipment
  • Design and develop new processes and process equipment to meet the needs of new product requirements and manufacturing needs
  • Support maintenance to help solve maintenance issues and problems which arise
  • Improve the designs of existing products using input from sales, marketing, and customers
  • Design, specify, and have built all tooling required to for product development projects
  • Design and develop new products using input from sales, marketing, and customers

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors of Science in Engineering preferred
  • 5+ years' engineering experience in a manufacturing environment preferred; flexible to consider fewer years' experience
  • Experience with PLC systems/robotics nice to have
  • Practical experience with AutoCAD LT and/or Solidworks
  • Able to work independently and comfortable on the manufacturing floor
  • Experience in product design, machine design, or manufacturing engineering

Digital Marketing Analyst III - Media Analyst - Madison, WI Direct Hire Opportunity!

The QTI Group has partnered with a local manufacturer to recruit a Digital Media Analyst III on our dynamic marketing team.  This position will be a part of the Digital Strategy & Analytics team and manage our comprehensive digital media and paid search programs. They will work with multiple teams across the marketing department, our digital and analytics agencies, and our distributors to create and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive awareness, consideration, and lead generation.
 
The Analyst will manage the day-to-day relationships and tasks with internal and external resources involved in projects and campaigns - e.g. creating and executing digital media and/or paid search plans to meet business needs like supporting product launches, promotions, service, etc.  This position must exercise sound judgment in seeking input/approvals from marketing managers at appropriate junctures while demonstrating initiative and critical thinking skills.
 
This position will serve as a key resource for multiple teams within the Marketing Department and the agencies, providing sound business context, clear direction, and clear analysis and actionable insights where appropriate. This position must be able to analyze multi-channel data to identify areas for testing and/or optimizations to ensure that program and department goals are met.

Responsibilities:
Manage paid search marketing campaigns:
  • Develop and execute paid search campaigns with agency to nurture prospects through purchase process and meet annual goals for the purchase funnel (drive consumer traffic and acquire leads)                
  • Develop and execute paid search campaigns to assist our owners in mastering their appliances and finding parts, accessories, or service when necessary.
  • Develop and execute paid search campaigns to support distributors in meeting their marketing goals and driving traffic to their showrooms.
  • Work with team and agency to ensure all campaigns elements are tracked and that the reporting generated is insightful.
  • Based on reports and analysis from a variety of data sources, make recommendations to enhance program effectiveness and KPIS, and ensure marketing goals are met or exceeded.
 Manage digital media campaigns:
  • Define annual channel KPIs and lead goals to ladder up to sales and organizational goals and optimize media measurement framework to monitor and report on them.
  • Work alongside manager to set and optimize digital media mix and budget allocations.
  • Develop and execute digital media campaigns with agency including video, native, rich media, paid email, paid social, re-marketing, and addressable TV.
  • Work with brand and creative teams to test and optimize messaging and creative, with analytics team to create reporting, and business teams to inform media strategy.
  • Analyze and optimize media performance to improve KPIs and increase efficiencies.
 Manage department cross-channel campaign tracking:
  • Coordinate and execute the integration of all paid media tracking between agency and the Sizmek platform, our Marketing Automation platform (Marketo) and Web Analytics platform (Adobe) in terms of data collection and metrics.
  • Ensure all data is captured and accurate and allows for necessary campaign reporting.
 Manage media analyses projects:
  • Day to day contact for agency in executing several advanced media analyses like SVAR, sister market analysis, and media lever evaluation to help gain a better understanding of media impacts, inform current plan optimizations, and influence future media planning.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors or better in Marketing or related field.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, and strong project and program management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills. Must have the ability to identify and resolve exceptions and the ability to develop, interpret and explain analytics needed by marketing for decision making.
  • 4-7 years: Digital Marketing and/or Analytics Experience.

Digital Marketing Analyst II- Analytics - Madison, WI Direct Hire Opportunity!

The QTI Group is partnered with a local manufacturer to recruit a Digital Marketing Analyst II- Analytics position on their dynamic marketing team.  This position will be a part of the Digital Strategy & Analytics team and will be responsible for leveraging multiple data sources to provide actionable, accurate and strategic insights and measurements. 
 
They will work with multiple teams across the marketing department and organization, as well as our digital and analytics agencies, and our distributors to provide reporting of KPIs and to communicate online behavior across all digital properties to support continuous optimizations and business needs. To do so, the Analyst will collaborate across teams, investigate trends, create dashboards, conduct deep-dive analyses, create data visualizations, present data findings and recommendations, and support our overall analytics and tagging strategy.
 
This position must utilize both an analytical and creative mindset, with a strong attention to detail, an inquisitive and action-oriented personality. They must also be tech-savvy (or willing to learn!). The Analyst should be able to transform business questions into analytical projects and be confident in working with others to lead said projects from start to finish, including the presentation of the data.
 
Ideal candidate will have experience with Adobe Analytics, Tableau or Power BI, analytics tagging and data QC, and marketing automation and/or lead gen exposure.

Responsibilities:
Support ongoing analysis and reporting:
  • Support ad hoc and deep dive data request process; including analysis strategy/design, data pulling, data QC, presenting findings and following up with report requests as needed
  • Support all routine reporting, such as website KPIs, digital media, lead generation, website satisfaction, mobile app, site performance reporting, etc.
  • Manage automated digital analytics alerts; including the investigation of data issues as they arise, and creation of new alerts as needed
  • Conduct monthly/weekly QC and insight sharing for all key digital reports
  • Attend all relevant data-sharing meetings, lead as needed
Support overall analytics and tagging strategy
  • Work alongside digital analytics agency to maintain an organized and well-structured analytics platform
  • Make recommendations for new analytics tagging as digital platforms, such as the website, transform and are optimized to meet business needs
  • Support the collection and integration of data across various sources and systems, including but not limited to Adobe Analytics, Adobe Search, Marketo, iPerceptions, Tableau, Power BI, etc.
  • QC tagging and data as needed
  • Stay up to date on data analytics trends and technology
 Miscellaneous
  • Serve as an expert for website and mobile app analytics, including both qualitative and quantitative data
  • Encourage peers to utilize a “data-first” mindset
  • Participate in bi-weekly agile sprint planning to prioritize work
Qualifications:

Automation Controls Engineer- Direct Hire- Madison, WI area!


The QTI Group is recruiting for an Automation Controls Engineer to join our client near Madison, Wisconsin.

Our client's ownership group has over 125 combined years of industry experience and founded their organization in 2011 to develop and build innovative equipment supporting the insulated glass and window fabrication industries. Since inception, focus has centered on building high-speed, highly automated and cost-effective solutions. While a nimble, fast-paced environment, the company also values family and appropriate work/life balance. The addition of the Automation Controls Engineer will further strengthen their capabilities. Travel for this role will be less than 25%!

Primary Duties
  • Cradle to grave troubleshooting of automation control equipment including:
    • PLC programming of Beckhoff PLC equipment
    • Creating and modifying ladder logic, structured text & function block diagrams
  • HMI development on multiple platforms
  • Systems integration
  • Equipment debug
Requirements
  • Programming and operator screen development and ability to understand and write wiring schematics.
  • Knowledge and experience with Ethernet communications and data transfer to other systems.
  • Strong customer communication skills including verbal and writing.
  • Ability to work with an entire prototype and design team to complete a machine on time and on budget.
  • Ability to read and interpret written work instructions, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams
  • Knowledge and understanding of personal computers and use of Microsoft such as Word and Excel.
  • Vision system integrations and robotics will be a plus but are not required.
Qualifications Desired:
  • AS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent combination of an Engineering Technology degree and relevant work experience.
  • 3+ years of machine control and programming experience (Beckhoff, Allen Bradley, Siemens, Rockwell all desirable).
  • Factory floor troubleshooting experience.
  • Mechanically inclined, strong problem-solving skills.
